Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun, also known as Dagrin, (October 21, 1987 - April 22, 2010) was an award winning Nigerian rapper from Ogun, Nigeria. DaGrin, God rest his soul, gave Nigerians one of the best rap albums ever. The album dropped on the 26, January 2010, under Missofunyin entertainment and as expected was an instant hit. The album became bigger after the death of the rap icon. CEO was also the first rap album in an indigenous language (Yoruba) to achieve such success. Yoruba rap wasn’t new at the time but it wasn’t as popular, accepted or respected. A film of his life entitled Ghetto Dreamz was released in April 2011.
Ghetto Dreams Ft Sossick
No matter where you are from, you can achieve your dream. That was the message Dagrin preached on this one titled Ghetto Dreams. The song features Sossick.
Pon Pon Pon
When DaGrin teamed up with veteran Hip Hop producer, Sossick in 2009 to produce the monster hit record Pon Pon Pon, it was merely a sign of things to come. The ghetto feel, the street slangs, the rawness of the lyrics, the language, the lyrics, the flow, it was evident that DaGrin had finally stamped his feet on the Nigerian rap scene and was just beginning.
Everyday Ft Ejay
Everyday exposes Dagrin's everyday life, from his bed to his hustle on the street, he talks about things you can relate to as someone who came up from a ghetto in Nigeria.
Swag Ft Sossick
He says you already know what it is right, he lied, Swag was nothing to do with blinks and all that but a self appraisal, Dagrin describe himself as the king of Rap and he is right about that.

Make Doe features Dark Poet and Sossick. It's a dope song although Dagrin didn't have his way much as he took just the first verse with Sossick and Dark Poet dropping their own verses too. When Dagrin call out various Ghetto across the country, am sure you have goose pimple as he make mention of your own state. Tell me you do not have the goose pimple already.
Gboro Ft Isolate
Just when you wish he can do something to dance to, he did bring in Gboro and then the dance floor is on fire. Isolate brought that icing to the cake superbly baked by Dagrin.

He did gave his fans what they want, after giving his fans a tip of what to come from yoruba rap, DaGrin’s C.E.O album reshaped the Hip Hop scene in Nigeria as he paved the way for several other Yoruba rappers who have also gone ahead to be successful, Olamide, Reminsce are the most notable artiste to have benefited from Dagrin's brilliancy.

Thank God Ft Omawumi
DaGrin won the Artiste of the year and won best rap album, at the Hip Hop World Awards in 2010. This song is a thank you song featuring Omawumi.
